March for the River (final stretch, 1 mile)

Join us for a fun and symbolic statement of our community's need for water flowing in the Kern River. 

We will start marching in the dry riverbed from Calloway Bridge at 1:30pm and will end at the bike bridge at Park at River Walk. Final mile marchers will join with the full distance marchers at that time and march in unision to the finish.

Come dressed for an enjoyable day on the water (sun hats, inner tubes, pool noodles, PFDs). Let's highlight the irony of the river being dry!
